Military Travel Discounts and Tips for Las Vegas – TI

Las Vegas Hotels for US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and all military personnel and families

No need to get on the Strip to get to the self-parking or valet. The rooms have recently been renovated and are quite comfortable. For the Navy families, the pool is on the ground floor and you have to be sure to get there early to snag a lounger. The nice thing is that Starbucks and Ben & Jerry’s are enroute to the pool. There are many eating options here. The buffet is decent, but for many, the Vietnamese restaurant is a gem. Serving up huge bowls of pho at a pretty reasonable price, it’s what the doctor ordered for that hangover! Of course you can’t miss the Sirens show in the front of the hotel. The show was recently revamped and the set is new, as is the show. There is an area reserved for hotel guests so be sure to take advantage of that. You can avoid having to wait in line for a great view of the action! There are loud explosions, so it might not be suitable for little kids. Shopping options aren’t great in this hotel, but with the Fashion Show mall just across the street (via a sky bridge), the access to a huge variety of stores which won’t bankrupt you is a plus. There are also additional eating options at the mall, such as Chipotle, Jamba Juice, Capital Grille, and Maggiano’s Little Italy, just to name a few. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, just hop on Spring Mountain Road and head west towards “Chinatown” where you will find a huge variety of affordable and delicious Asian foods. It’s another hidden gem that only the locals know about! Use for DOD discounts on travel and don’t forget the rebate program that can save you more!

INSIDER TIP: The resort fee is optional! It’s a great savings on that hidden fee that other resorts all charge!
