Naval Air Station Atlanta, now reestablished as General Lucius D. Clay National Guard Center, is a navy AP now managed by the Georgia Army National Guard. This air station is situated in Cobb County, in the vicinity of Marietta, Georgia. The base was under the control of the United States Navy before its transfer of ownership to the National Guard of Georgia.
NAS Atlanta mission is training Navy & Marine Corp reserve who were assigned to various aviation and non-aviation reserve units.
