· The airport is situated off the A4 motorway, which linksAmsterdam,The Hague andRotterdam. The exit to the airport is clearly signposted.
Parking
· There are two short-term car parks (P1 and P2), both connected to the terminal andSchipholPlaza by covered walkways, recommended for stays of up to 48 hours.
· Long-term parking is available in an open-air car park (P3), situated 4km (25 miles) from the terminal.
· A free 24-hour shuttle bus links P3 with the terminal.
· There is also a luxury car park (P7).
· A VIP valet service is also available; reservations are required (tel: (0)900 7244 7465 (Netherlands only) or (0)20 794 0800).
Public Transportation
· Rail: There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall, underSchipholPlaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Central Station (journey time: 15 minutes). Night trains serveUtrecht, Amsterdam Central Station,Leiden,The Hague,Delft andRotterdam. The reservation-only, high-speed Thalys train serves major European cities. · Shuttles: Many hotels offer a free airport shuttle service to guests The Connexxion Schiphol Hotel Service (tel: (0)38 339 4771) is a daily hotel shuttle service running from the airport to over 55 hotels in and around Amsterdam; the Connexxion desk is situated in the Arrivals hall 2, for tickets and information.
Airport Facilities
· Money and communications: There are numerous banks, which also offer VAT reclaim facilities, ATMs, currency exchange machines and bureaux de change. There is a post office in Lounge 2, and mobile telephone hire at the Telecom Rentcenter at Schiphol Plaza Multiphone multimedia telephone units, which can be used for telephoning, Internet access and an SMS service, are situated throughout the airport. Wireless Internet is available in designated ‘communication zones’ in the terminal building.
· Eating and drinking: There are numerous restaurants, bars and cafés situated throughout the terminal building.
· Shopping: There are numerous shops, including duty-free and a 24-hour supermarket, at Schiphol Plaza (before security) and on both sides of immigration. A duty-free pre-order and collection service is available online.
· Luggage: Seal & Go, at various locations in the Departures check-in area (tel: (0)20 316 4289) seals luggage (irrespective of size) within one minute. Lockers are situated throughout the terminal. Left-luggage is open daily in the basement between Arrivals 1 and 2 (tel: (0)20 601 2443). There are free trolleys and a porter service (tel: (0)20 601 2303) is available on request. There is a lost and found office; information desks can provide more information.
· Other facilities: The airport has a medical centre, 24-hour emergency medical services (tel: (0)20 649 2566) and a pharmacy. There is a fully equipped baby room and several play areas on Holland Boulevard; baby change facilities are provided in the toilets. Shower facilities can be found at the terminal hotel (see below), available 24 hours a day. Massages, a casino and a prayer room are also available.
Help Desk
· Schiphol information desks are located before passport control inSchipholPlaza, halls 2 and 3 in Arrivals, and behind passport control in Lounges 2 and 3.
· Eight transfer desks, situated on the piers, offer information on transfers and connecting flights. Multiphone units, with touch-screen technology for information on the airport, are located throughout the terminal.
· The Customer Contact Centre (tel: +800 7244 7465) can provide further information.
· The VVV Holland Tourism Information Office is situated in Arrivals hall 2, with tourist information and an accommodation reservation service.
Disabled Facilities
· Facilities include automatic doors, toilets, and a lift between all floors of the airport, including train platforms. Wheelchairs are available for visitors, but passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
· ACompany (tel: (0)20 601 5018) provides an electrocar service, with shuttles running between piers D, E, F and G and in the Arrivals hall. Disabled parking is available in car parks P1, P2 and P3.
· A bus is available on request (tel: (0)20 316 1417) from car park P3 to take disabled passengers to the terminal; passengers requiring this service should phone at least 24 hours in advance Visicom (tel: (0)20 601 2929) supplies text telephones for hearing-impaired passengers; induction loops are fitted at the information desks, transfer desks and in the waiting areas in the central lounge.

Hotels
· Hotel Mercure Schiphol Terminal Hotel is located within the terminal building, beyond customs. The hotel offers shower facilities 24 hours a day, as well as day room and overnight facilities. There are a number of hotels in the Schiphol area, most of which offer a free shuttle service to the airport. Hotels include: Bastion Hotel Amsterdam Airport Schiphol , Courtyard Marriott Amsterdam Airport, Crowne Plaza SPC, Dorint Airport Hotel Radisson SAS, Hotel Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the Sheraton Hotel . The Schiphol TravelPort provides e-mail bookings and payment for selected hotels.

· The I-85 and I-285 both provide direct access to the airport I-75 and I-20 also connect the airport with all areas of Georgia and southeast USA.
Parking
· The airport has space for 31,000 cars, including short- and long-term parking.
· There are both indoor and outdoor car parks with direct access to the terminals, as well as hourly parking areas in front of each terminal for pick-up and drop-off.
· Daily car parks are situated next to the terminals, while economy car parks are next to the parking decks and beyond the Ground Transportation Centre.
· There are also three long-term Park & Ride car parks located further away, with a free transfer bus service to/from the terminals.
Public Transportation
· The Ground Transportation Centre (tel: 404 530 6674) is situated near baggage reclaim with information on buses, taxis, shuttles, car hire, limousines and trains, disabled transportation and off-site airport parking.
· Rail: Rapid train services leave the airport for downtownAtlanta (journey time: 15 minutes), from where connections to other parts of the city can be made.
· Road: Taxi: Metered taxis serve the airport; taxis can be booked at the Ground Transportation Centre island A. Only authorized taxis should be used. · Bus: The airport is served by Greyhound Flightlink buses, which depart daily for selected cities and states from the lower level of the North Terminal.

· There are more than 7,000 spaces in each garage Uncovered economy parking is also available.
· Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot is located south ofPeña Boulevard on75th Avenue for long-term parking. Shuttles drop passengers off at check-in. The Mt Elbert Shuttle Lot is for overflow parking in a remote car park, also served by a shuttle.
· Valet parking is accessible via the Arrivals roadway on Level 4 on the east and west sides of the Terminal.
Public Transportation
· Road: Taxi: Taxis, charters and luxury limousines are available to all destinations.

· Hourly and daily parking is available within walking distance of the terminal. Hourly parking is located in front of the terminal and there are two daily car parks: Garage 1 and Garage 2, both linked with the terminal.
· A free shuttle also runs between the garages and the terminal.
· Four long-term car parks are connected to the terminal by a free shuttle service.

There is a Metrobus express service between downtownWashingtonDC and the airport, along the Dulles Corridor. Greyhound also provides a service from the airport to several locations in Virginia Washington. Flyer tickets are available at the ground transportation centre ticket counter, on the Arrivals level. The bus departs from outside the Arrivals level, door 4. SuperShuttle provides a door-to-door shared-ride service, also stopping at Union Station, available on demand from outside the terminal building.

· Road: Taxi: Taxis are readily available from the Ground Transportation Centre next to the passenger terminal. There are separate queues for various services; urban taxis are red and serve almost all destinations in the city,NewTerritories taxis are green, and Lantau taxis are blue. There is no taxi access toDiscoveryBay.
· Limousine: The airport is served by several limousine companies, with offices located in the Arrivals hall and the Ground Transportation Centre.
· Bus: Public buses also leave from the Ground Transportation Centre and from near car parks 1 and 2. Buses are operated by Citybus (tel: 2873 0818), Long Win (tel: 2261 2791) and New Lantao (tel: 2984 9848). There are 11 Airbus routes to various parts ofHong Kong, including North Point Ferry Pier, Hung Hom station and Lam Tin station. Frequent external bus services are also available. · Coach: Cross-border coaches run by five operators offer regular services between the airport and majorGuangdong cities in mainlandChina. A valid travel document for entry to mainlandChina is required.
Airport Facilities
· Money and communications: There is a bank, and several bureaux de change counters and ATMs located throughout the terminal. A post office is located in the Departures hall. Wireless Internet is available anywhere airside in the terminal. A Cyber Break Café is located in the northwest concourse and some 170 PowerPhones for Internet access can be found in the terminal and Ground Transportation Centre.
· Eating and drinking: There are more than 150 food and drink outlets, including an Irish pub in the Arrivals hall.
· Shopping: Shops including gift and duty-free are available. There is a 24-hour convenience store in the Arrivals hall. A pre-order and pick-up service for duty-free products is available.
· Luggage: Trolleys are available at all passenger drop-off points. A porter service is available at various points, including outside the Departures hall and the baggage reclaim hall. A) Driving directions
· The LAX airport is located just off the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway-1) and Highway-42, near the intersection of Freeways-405 and -105 (Highway-1 is also called Lincoln Boulevard just north of the airport and is called Sepulveda Boulevard just south of the airport).
· FromLos Angeles, take Freeway-405 south, turn off onto either Highway-42 or Freeway-105 west, and follow signs to the airport.

Driving directions
· TheEast Coast Parkway electronic toll road runs straight between the airport and Singapore City Centre. Cash cards for Electronic Road Pricing can be purchased from car hire companies at the airport.
Parking
· The airport has three car parks offering various tolls for short and longer stays Car Park A serves Terminal 1 and Car Parks B and C serve Terminal 2.
Public Transportation
· Rail: The MRT station is located in Terminal 2 Trains run betweenSingapore city hall and the airport Passengers heading to the airport are advised to note the names of the terminal stations (Pasir Ris orChangiAirport).
· Road: Taxi: Taxi ranks are situated outside the Arrivals hall and are available 24 hours a day. Six-seater MaxiCab taxis run an airport shuttle service between the airport and any hotel inSingapore (except Le Meridien Changi and hotels in Sentosa) and anywhere in the central business district.
· Limousine: Limousine taxis are also available.
· Bus: Frequent public bus services leave the bus stations located in the basements of each terminal. Exact change is required. The Ground Transportation Centre is situated in the Arrivals hall of Terminal 1 and provides information on all forms of transport to/from the airport.
Airport Facilities
· Money and communications: Bureaux de change are open 24 hours a day. Wireless Internet is available at various points in the airport. Multimedia payphones are available in the News lounge of the Terminal 1. Departures/transit lounge. All local calls made within the Departures/transit areas are free. There are postal services available in both terminals.
· Eating and drinking: The airport has restaurants, cafés, bars, delis, fast-food outlets and snack bars, offering Western and Asian cuisine; many are open 24 hours.
· Shopping: There are several shops at the airport, including duty-free and a 24-hour mini-supermarkets in both terminals.
· Luggage: Left-luggage is available in both terminals.
· Other facilities: These include medical clinics, a 24-hour medical centre and pharmacies. There is also a swimming pool, spa, showers, massage and a fitness centre, as well as multi-faith prayer rooms. · Rail: Passengers should check which terminal they require before setting off for the airport as the terminals have separate railway stations: The Narita Airport Station (Terminal 1) and the Airport Terminal 2 Station Keisei Electric Railway provides services to Keisei Ueno in central Tokyo, as well as a direct service to Haneda Airport Japan Railways’ reservation-only Narita Express and non-reservation rapid trains serve Tokyo and regional destinations.
